What it signals when you’re hiring
Metro Associates’ own read, not NECA’s.
This is a contractor-side award, which makes it useful for a different reason than the others: it maps the firms doing the installation work your MEP designs land on. Candidates who have worked across that boundary are the ones whose drawings get built without a fight.
Roles whose work ends up in an entry like this
- Electrical Project Manager
- Electrical Engineer
- Field Superintendent
We staff the firms that enter. We don’t enter.
Metro Associates is a recruiting firm, and a recruiting firm is not eligible for an engineering award. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or a winner of the Project Excellence Awards. The NECA name and mark belong to NECA, shown here to identify the program it runs. What we do is place the engineers whose work goes into entries like it.
