Permit Technician
A confidential municipal consulting firm is seeking an experienced Permit Technician to support building-department permit processing and customer service operations.
Responsibilities and Requirements
- 8+ years of building-department permit counter or closely related experience.
- Strong customer service skills and ability to guide the public through online permitting systems.
- Ability to quickly learn permit software and department procedures.
- Review simple permit applications and drawings for over-the-counter permits.
- Accurate data entry, recordkeeping and workflow support.
Estimated Pay Range: $70,000 - $95,000 per year.
