Senior Mechanical & Plumbing Engineer PE or CPD

Locations: Las Vegas, NV
Work Arrangement: Hybrid — 3 days per week in office
Employment Type: Full-Time

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead mechanical and/or plumbing design for commercial and institutional projects.
  • Prepare, coordinate, and review engineering drawings and construction documents.
  • Develop HVAC, plumbing, piping, equipment, and related building-system designs.
  • Coordinate with architectural, structural, electrical, and other engineering disciplines.
  • Perform technical calculations, equipment selection, system layouts, and design reviews.
  • Ensure designs comply with applicable codes, standards, and project requirements.
  • Collaborate with clients, architects, contractors, and internal project teams.
  • Review drawings produced by engineers and designers for accuracy and constructability.
  • Support projects through design development, permitting, bidding, and construction.
  • Mentor junior engineering staff and contribute to project leadership as needed.
Required Qualifications
  • 7+ years of mechanical, plumbing, or MEP design experience.
  • Experience working within an engineering or MEP consulting environment.
  • P.E. license and/or CPD credential required.
  • Strong proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit.
  • Experience producing and reviewing coordinated construction documents.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical and/or plumbing systems, applicable codes, and industry standards.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and project coordination skills.
Relevant Project Experience

Candidates should have experience working on projects such as:

  • Commercial
  • Residential
  • Mixed-use
  • Education
  • Healthcare
  • Institutional
  • Other similar building and facility projects
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous Project Manager or Team Lead experience is preferred, but not required.
  • Experience leading projects, coordinating multidisciplinary teams, or mentoring junior staff is a plus.
Work Schedule

This is a hybrid position requiring three days per week in the office.
